Leonidas' Fine Belgian Chocolate

Kubo, 'The Little House' is proud to be an outlet to the world reknown Leonidas' Chocolate Factory. We keep a wide selection of confectionaries in our store as well as the ability to order factory direct to meet your needs.

In 1910 Leonidas Kestekides, a confectioner in the US, travelled to Belgium for the first time to display his fine chocolates. While displaying them at the Worlds' Fair, he is awarded the bronze medal and the gold medal, respectively for his chocolate confectionery and his patisserie. Thus began the tradition of Leonidas' quality and perfection in the chocolate industry.

Soon thereafter, Leonidas opened his first stores, which now span the globe. Since its foundation in 1913, Leonidas has made it a point of honor to provide its customers with chocolate pralines of the highest quality, unimpeachable freshness and incomparable taste.
In the U.S., the term "praline" refers to a specially prepared nut, usually an almond. These are not the pralines to which we refer. To the rest of the world, most certainly in Belgium where they orginate, the term "PRALINE" is a historical reference to a filled chocolate. Thus, Leonidas' Pralines refer to specially filled chocolates of the finest quality ingredients.
Only fresh butter, dairy cream and the best ingredients from all over the world are used to make the famous leonidas chocolate pralines. Leonidas uses only cocoa butter not vegetable fats for both the coating and the filling of its chocolates. For that reason we recommend you store our products in a dry place, shielded from the light and at temperatures between 59F and 65F.
